Winter is approaching, and from December to February, the temperature can drop below 5°C in the communities where they live in Balrampur. Gayatri, a 1st standard student, along with 161 other children in the community, will face extreme cold without proper winter clothes or warm blankets. Her mother Neetu mentioned that while they have firewood to keep warm, it’s unsafe, as children sometimes get burned by the flames. Help Aitilang's family renovate their house

Aitilang Pariat, mother of Alisabet Pariat works as daily wager and her income is Rs.2500 per month. Her husband is a Farmer with a monthly income of Rs.4000. They have five children and the family has expressed their need of repairing and renovating their house as it is in a bad condition due to leakage of rain water. There is lack of safety for the family members because of the house's weak structure. This need was identified while the staff had monitored the child and found out that the father's health condition was poor and had faced problems at home because of the house's bad condition. So, the family requires help with house repair and renovation so that the children and family have a safe shelter , protected from rain, storm, sun, and any kind of danger. World Vision offers to help with the renovation of house by means of raising half brick wall on all sides of the house with cement plaster on wall and flooring, new tin roofs and labour for construction. Toilet for Ananya’s family

11-year-old Ananya lives with her parents and elder siblings in a village in Yadgir district. Her father is the sole breadwinner, earning a meagre income. They live in a tin-roofed house without a toilet, and open defecation is common due to the lack of proper sanitation. Ananya and her sister feel unsafe going out early in the morning or late at night. Thanks to your support, Ananya now has a proper toilet at home—a true blessing for her and her sister.

Wheelchair for Thulasi

Thulasi, a 13-year-old girl, is both mentally and physically challenged, entirely dependent on her parents. Due to financial difficulties, her parents could not afford a wheelchair, making it difficult to move her. On 21st December 2023, World Vision India provided Thulasi with a wheelchair. Her grandparents expressed deep gratitude, noting that this support has greatly eased their burden. They wholeheartedly thanked WVI Nandyal ADP for the invaluable assistance.
